Jonathan & Jeff, 28th & Madison, NYC, 6/2/02. This is Jeff and his son Jonathan. What I learned from this shot was how crucial the direction of lighting is - the hat blocks off what would have been a slightly front/side lit picture. As it turns out though, both Jeff and Jonathan's faces are shadowed in a way that obscures them - the contrast is off because of the bright background. Still, I like the picture - little kids rarely look bad.
