Oakland Rose Garden, 6/15/02. This is actually the first shot I took, but the film jammed in the camera (my fault, not the cameraÕs) and when I yanked it out, the emulsion create some very strange effects as you can see. The small, ridge-like mars are from bends in the film itself - like photo bruises I suppose, but the strange coloring of yellow came from the emulsion being bunched up in certain places where the film was folded onto itself. It was a strange enough effect that I kept the photo even though the print had been damanged.
