I didn't realize that "Jealous Guy" was actually a John Lennon tune until long after I had fallen into the spell of Donny Hathaway's rendition of it. Hathaway had such an impressive catalog despite his tragically abbreviated lifespan but this song (from his Live album) is first among equals. Sample.
